Friends

There is a very broad range of friendships. Some people are friends just on the surface. You don't really know them deep down, or what their favorite ice cream is, or even their last name.. but when you see them at the grocery store you stop and say hi and ask how they're doing.Another type of friend is one that's in the same circle as your friends but you're not the best of friends. You always see them when you go out with your friends, to parties, movies, whatever... but you don't ever call them to see what's up.Best friends the kind that change every few years are wonderful to have. Sometimes these friends just drift apart because of changing perceptions but you are always grateful that you were once friends. These friends are close to TRUE friends, but you never lose those true friends.The best of all friends is the true friend. The one that is with you thick and thin. This is the kind of friend that will stick up for you even when they think you're wrong. This is a friend that will keep all secrets.. that will make you soup when you're sick. You might even marry your true friend one day. The married best friends are the best of all! According to this friend you can do no harm to them and you wouldn't think of harming them. These friends are very hard to come by and maybe you will only have a couple of these in a lifetime, but they're the best of the best.
